INTRODUCTION

Safety Excellence: Key to a Lifetime
Riviera Electric has a full-time safety and health staff, which maintains our comprehensive safety program, and facilitates compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA). Our safety department and field supervision is fully capable of developing site-specific job hazard analysis and programs for both routine and non-routine tasks and projects, ensuring all critical aspects of safety are properly addressed.

Our safety program provides the tools for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, material, and equipment. The company's safety department, project managers, and jobsite supervision facilitate this rigorous inspection program.

Safety and Health Training
Training at Riviera Electric is a priority. Our accident prevention program consists of holding weekly safety meetings on the jobsite pertaining to site-specific issues, along with providing detailed safety instruction to our employees throughout their professional career. This training begins when they enter our company as an apprentice electrician and continues through their upward progression into management. Each manager and supervisor completes at a minimum an OSHA 10-hour course of instruction that provides them with the necessary information to identify hazards that are common in construction. This training provides them with the information they need to successfully implement our safety program on their projects.
