ABOVE AND BEYOND

Riviera Electric responded to an emergency service call to the Seven Falls Tourist site in Colorado Springs, CO on the evening of July 18, 2004. Once we arrived, we discovered that a lightning strike had damaged the lights which illuminate the falls at night.

We then realized it was not possible to access the lights without repelling down the mountain. Since our employees were not qualified to repel, we immediately hired a local repelling instructor to give the Colorado Springs Service Department a crash course on repeling and mountaineering safety. We were able to accomplish the training and safely repel down the mountain to repair the light fixtures within 72 hours of receiving the call.

Our commitment is not only to respond to our customer's needs as quickly as possible, but to make sure safety is first and foremost in accomplishing the task at hand.
